There have been many changes in this field over the last few years. "The UK's" own "back door Santa" has slipped in more stealth taxes directly impacting expatriates living and working abroad.
Why pay?
The only benefit in paying UK National Insurance to be gained by expatriates living and working abroad is UK state pension credit. Under new rules you only need 30 years contribution for a full UK pension.
