Pace for the Long Run

Pace for the Long Run

Have you ever struggled and strained to complete a shift?

Have you ever had to give up the chase ?

We never want to quit but in the extreme we could be forced too. We could pull a muscle, sprain a joint, collapse under the weight, fall asleep at the wheel.

Human bodies like any machine or natural mechanism needs time to rest and restore, needs a flow of inputs and processes to maintain the operation over the long term.

Take care to rest, restore and fuel consistently so you don’t leave yourself with an empty tank.

Organise plan and prepare to have an even realistic pace to deliver not in a sprint but at a steady jog.

Focus on being good enough and don’t let the perfectionist in you steal your time on unproductive details.

Deliver steadily, plan realistically, refuel regularly, maintain consistently, focus on the finish line.
