Find a Reason for New Habits
Find a Reason for New Habits
Have you ever tried to make a change in your life and it was so hard?
Have you moved home and it takes months to get settled into the new routines of the house, journeys and where everything is?
How long does it take you to settle into a new job?
CHANGE
Everybody struggles with change. Change is hard because it involves new habits. Habits are sub conscious low energy activities we can coordinate without consciously thinking about what we are doing. When we do something unique we have to think hard- that takes effort and determination to see it through.
REASON
If you get a great new job or home then you have good reason to go through the effort of change for the career progression, and lifestyle of the family.
What about when you want to improve yourself? What reasons do you have?
To train each day, to practice new skills, to refine the way your day works out, to put the time and effort into changing your habits for good?
EASY
The beauty of a habit is once it is learned and in place, it is easier to repeat, thoughtlessly.
The motivation is the reason for making the change. The reason may be a small step towards your long term goals, or part of a longer term plan.
There has to be a reason for the new habit to improve your life - to make it easier, improve your family or career status or improve the business life.
-
What new habit could help you?
Why would you create that new habit?
Now you can….
