UK Tax Payment Change for 2018
Expats with Property Rental, Business, Dividends or savings arising in the UK could have a liability to Tax payable in the UK.
This would also apply if working in the UK for a short period during a tax year.
Once assessed and any tax becomes due, the UK HMRC have changed the way tax can be paid.
Payments can no longer be made at a UK Post office or by any Credit Card.
UK cheque payments could be made but the preferred method to pay UK tax is:
- by bank transfer or direct debit instruction
- online Debit Card payment
- Telephone Banking payment from your Bank
