Do At Least the Minimum

Do you ever make commitments to yourself, to family, to your boss?

Does that commitment include a specific measure of progress or attainment and include a time deadline?

Normally it does.

If it doesn’t it’s not a commitment. It’s words, dreams, ideas.

The commitment should be realistic and attainable, within the capability and capacity of the doer to complete that task.

If the commitment is a complex project then it should have steps along the way.

COMMITTED

Given all that, if you give your word to yourself or others to do something, do the minimum required to meet that commitment within the time frame.

This builds your credibility, reliability and integrity.
