Keep 3 Day Balance

The human body works on a 3 day cycle of growth, rest and restore.
After an excess of exercise, work, exertion, brain work, sickness, little sleep, a long session, the body needs around 3 days to rebalance.
RESTORATION
Recovery from a work out or sports game needs time for the wear and tear on muscles and joints to calm down and repair.
With less that 7-8 hours sleep in a night the body takes not one but two nights sleep to restore make good and repair the mind and body as only sleep can.
After an excess of feasting food or drink the gut needs 3 days to process and clean up the excess.
A long hard work week needs a full weekend of rest and relax with alternatives to prepare and go again next time.
A 24 hour bug needs recuperation time for the antibodies to build and do their job detoxing and cleaning up.
In extreme the human body could keep going but will close down after 72 hours at most.
Without water the body may die.
TRIO
Thinking in 3 day periods helps build stamina and sustainability. There used to be a time when society included a Wednesday and Saturday half day with a 7th day of rest.
Ignoring the body and brain’s need to rebalance in the long term leads to a breakdown of human health by mental, physical , physiological or accident.
