Time Limit. Do.

Have you ever finished a day and not done everything planned?
Have interruptions got in your way?
Are bosses, clients or teachers chasing you for work you have done ?
We all have days like this but we should limit them.
SCHEDULE
Make your schedule for today. Allow a realistic time slot and allocate a minimum ‘deep work’ time.
This means you may allocate 30 minutes with a minimum 15 deeply focused on the task, not in preparation or interruptions.
DO
Do high quality intense deep work at that time.
You may get 30 minutes in. Do it. Then stop. Stop.
You have your next scheduled job. If it’s to catch a train and you are late you will fail the next task in your day.
TELL
Report back when the job is done. No matter what. Verbally, message, email, whatever is appropriate.
Reinforce the trust in you to get the job done.
Save your time and others checking the job is done.
BETTER
Altogether better. Everyone is in the loop, knows what’s going on, and a trusting relationship grows in the family, team or community.
