Have you ever been in a position where you struggle to get started ?

When you have the scheduled job but just could not get that motor started?

We all have these moments.

Like when you think you are organised, prepared and ready to go but get stuck on the start line.

What to do?

Something.

You may not be fully organised.

Do you have to hand all you need to get started?

You could get started with that additional organisation. Then be better organised next time.

A  good lesson learned.

The simple next step could be too big?

You may be thinking of the journey to the project’s finish line instead of a managable next step.

It could be you need to start by breaking down and creating a new list of project tasks with a realistic smaller steps achievable in time frames related to your world.

A 10 hours project task to finish is daunting.

100 tasks as steps to finish that project becomes more manageable.

10/20 steps to tick off as you progress.

How long would that take?

10/20 minute bites to get your teeth into the 10 hour project.

To move off that start line you could make your list of smaller steps  to tick off the ‘get dones’ along the way.

Recognise the achievement of each step.

How long would that take ?

No problem.

Take the first step.

Get moving forward.
