Cyprus Tax Return Deadline Extended Again

The Cyprus tax return deadline for 2020 full returns has been extended, again, from 30th November to Monday 6th December.

Their systems don't seem to be able handle the traffic that comes from many people trying to submit their tax returns all at once. Indeed, they also extended the deadline last year too.

Of course if we do your tax returns for you then they have been submitted well in advance of the deadline.

If you haven't submitted your return yet my advice is to submit it before Monday and don't leave it until the last minute as their system may crash again, and they may or may not extend the deadline again in such a situation leaving you liable to penalties and/ or interest on tax due.

Contact us for help submitting your return before the deadline.
