If you don’t ask, do not listen or search you will not gain understanding of the world around you or the people you connect with.
What fear drives the person with you? Loss? Security? Self worth?
Hunger? Passion? Abuse?
Or is there a physical or mental health problem?
By listening to understand, by asking questions to gain insight you can put yourself in a better place to move forward together.
Then you could better understand yourself, your partner, your children, team, or the acquaintances and strangers you meet during your day.
When you understand you are better able to give compassionate support and understanding to the people in your world.
Then your world is likely to become a better place.
