Being Happy is Without Entitlement

What needs to happen for you to be happy?
What do you want to be happy?
How could I make you happy?
How could anyone make you happy ? Partner, family, friend, boss, lottery, sports team?
-
That answer should be nothing.
Within ourselves we should be happy and content that the world is as it should be.
It could be better in many different ways.
Those could be ambitions hopes and dreams.
Meanwhile you are not entitled to anything.
As soon as you introduce a sense of entitlement there is a change. Your relationship to the world alters. You become a taker, a drainer of energy and resources from others.
A sense of entitlement could be for privilege, or it could be for attention, for joy, for a pay cheque.
Too often in the world people can develop a sense of entitlement and then what?
Happiness becomes dependant on satisfying those demands. And often that can lead to a ling and unhappy life.

Don’t take.
Don’t expect.
Be happy with where you are.
Look forward to your future.
Take action towards that.
Be happy with your progress.
Happy in your life.
With nothing else to disturb your balance.
Be happy.
