Should I Go & Live Abroad Now My Job Has Been Made Remote?

The world has changed. It will never go back to the way it was. With many companies now moving to remote work, ProACT Sam looks at whether it is time you upped sticks and moved to another country.

Remote working

Covid-19 has changed the world and things will never be the same again. Employers are reducing their office space and transitioning employees to a mix of in office and remote work. Some companies are making their employees fully remote.

This offers an unprecedented opportunity if you have ever dreamed about working abroad on the beach Pińa Colada in hand, travelling South America while still attending your weekly Zoom meeting or eating the best Greek food in a Taverna as your colleagues are for some inexplicable reason still living within a few miles of their employer.

Digital nomads used to be the exception. The brave freelancers living their best life. But now, thanks to Covid, that life is available to a hell of a lot more people.

Will you take advantage of this shift?
