Here's 3 things to schedule a day that gets done

We all get overwhelmed in our days. When the unexpected comes along , as usual. When the daily routines take your time, as always. When others demand your time out of the blue , because that's what family, colleagues , suppliers, associates , clients do.

---

I some times find the urgency means I schedule 10 jobs for the day and get only 5 done. I am good at it. I always get 5 things done..... there's a clue.

Here's 3 things to do in order to schedule a day that gets done

  1. Accept your routine habits that do occur in your days, and that you want to do each day. Schedule that time. Block out the time because you can only do one thing at a time. And if that habit - diet, exercise, run, family, hobby, travel, read, study, coffee time, meal time - is important to your happy day, healthy life and progress, then, those habits deserve your time. SCHEDULE YOUR PERSONAL ROUTINE HABITS
  2. Block your time. There are times during a week that you must be at work, school , travel, hobbies, family, sleep. Accept these routine times and 'block' these times. Fix them for the same time each week, each time. Keep them fixed. Don't let them overrun. Respect work time, family time and me time. Only schedule relevant tasks to do in these times. BLOCK YOUR TIME.
  3. Schedule Everything else. You can only do one thing at a time. In the time left in your week and days, schedule the tasks to do: schedule the work, family, health, personal commitments you make. Stay disciplined - don't commit to something you haven't got time to allocate, don't commit to something you don't have time for. You can only do one thing at a time. Be patient, do you best, and it could be 5 tasks a day. SCHEDULE TODAYS JOBS TO DO IN THE TIME LEFT.
